1954 International Harvester / Farmall Super MTA Diesel

About This Tractor

This is my 84 year old father’s tractor. It was restored 2 years ago while he was in Florida. When he purchased it, it was in very poor condition. He has used Shell Rotella in all of his trucks and tractors on the farm. The Super MTA diesel was only produced in 1954 with only 2705 being produced. Engine parts are becoming difficult to find and are fairly costly. This engine is unique in the fact that it starts on gasoline and once it is warmed up you switch it over to diesel. Carburetor, distributor, and spark plugs on the right hand side of the engine and injector and injection pump is on the left.
